Sixty feet, 35 tonnes light, and 1,300 litres of fuel. The 60 is where the range stops being a large cruising catamaran and starts being a small yacht — the point at which most owners bring on crew, at least for passages. Everything about her is built for distance rather than day sailing.

The 60 sits between the 55 and the SIXTY 5 in the sailing range and carries the full design trio: VPLP for the naval architecture, Patrick le Quément for the exterior, Nauta Design for the interior. Lagoon names no predecessor anywhere on its own page, so treat the idea that she replaces the old 620 as trade shorthand rather than factory line. What is genuinely new is the forward cockpit — reached through a door forward of the saloon and flush with the saloon sole, so guests move fore and aft without going along the side decks. On a boat this size that changes how the deck is actually used.

Under sail she carries 230m² upwind, split between an 87m² genoa and either a 135m² high-roach or a 143m² square-top mainsail, with a 58m² staysail for heavier weather and an optional 160m² Code 0. Standard auxiliary power is a pair of 150hp Yanmars, and Lagoon offers a hybrid version with a silent mode. At 35.2 tonnes light she is the lighter of the two big sailing Lagoons, and her 30m air draft is well under the SIXTY 5’s — which decides which bridges and which yards are open to you. Layouts run to five cabins with one crew option: an owner’s boat that can charter, rather than a charter platform.
