Privacy Notice
Last updated 13 August 2026.
1. Scope
This notice explains what personal information Caribe Yacht Group collects through caribeyachtgroup.com, why, and what you can do about it.
2. What we collect
- Information you give us. When you request a hold, book a sea trial or contact us: your name, email address, telephone number, the vessel you are enquiring about, and anything you write in the message field.
- Information collected automatically. Standard web data such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and referring site.
- Saved yachts. If you shortlist a yacht, that list is stored in your own browser on your own device. We do not receive it.
3. Why we use it
To answer your enquiry and arrange viewings, surveys and sea trials; to administer a requested hold; to keep a record of our dealings with you; to improve the website; and, where you have agreed or where we are otherwise permitted, to send you occasional information about yachts and services.
4. Who we share it with
We use HubSpot as our customer relationship and marketing platform; enquiry details are stored there. We use website analytics and hosting providers who process data on our behalf. Where a transaction requires it we share details with surveyors, finance providers, documentation agents, and the vessel’s owner or their broker.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Cookies and tracking
The site uses cookies and similar technology for basic operation, analytics and marketing attribution, including HubSpot’s tracking. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; some parts of the site may then work less well.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept for as long as we have an active or reasonably foreseeable relationship with you, and afterwards for as long as we need them for legal, tax or dispute-resolution purposes. Then we delete or anonymise them.
7. Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or tell us to stop sending you marketing. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under local law — tell us and we will honour them.
To make any request, email info@caribeyachtgroup.com.
8. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No website or database is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
This site is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
