The EIGHTY 3 shares her design team with the sailing EIGHTY 2 — VPLP for naval architecture, VPLP with Patrick le Quément outside, Nauta Design within — along with the same 23.91m hull and 11m beam. She replaces the SEVENTY 8 at the head of the power range and stands above the SIXTY 7. What separates her from the boats below is capability rather than styling: 8,500 litres of fuel, twin John Deere N13 diesels of 580hp each, and a published 3,500 nautical miles of autonomy on 68.5 tonnes light.

Lagoon publishes no cruising speed and no fuel-burn data, so read the 3,500-mile figure as a tankage-and-range claim rather than a speed-and-consumption curve; we will get the yard’s burn tables before anyone plans an ocean itinerary on it. What is published points to a boat run at displacement pace: a 1.27m draft for close-in anchorages, a flush main deck, and an aft platform extending to 22m² for a tender or a jet ski. Four- and five-cabin plans, eight to sixteen berths and an owner’s suite with a private terrace make her a workable crewed charter platform as well as a private yacht.
