Cannes Yachting Festival

The first big show of the season, and the one where Lagoon launches. If you want to see a boat before anyone else has, this is where it happens.

Why this one matters

Cannes is where the European season opens and where builders choose to premiere. It is in the water rather than in a hall, across two harbours, which means you step aboard rather than peer at a stand. For anyone weighing a new build, it is the fastest way to compare four or five boats in an afternoon.

Making the trip work

  • Fly into Nice and take the train down the coast — it is half an hour and far less painful than driving into Cannes.
  • Friday runs late (until 22:00). It is the best evening to see a boat lit up and the worst to try to have a quiet conversation.
  • Tuesday morning is the quietest slot of the whole week if you want time aboard without queueing.

Common questions

Can Caribe Yacht Group get me aboard at Cannes?

Tell us which boats you want to see and we will arrange the introductions in advance. Walk-up access to the newest premieres is limited, and appointments made ahead are a different experience entirely.

Is it worth going if I am buying in the Caribbean?

If you are considering a new build, yes. Specification decisions are far easier to make standing in the boat than reading a brochure, and the delivery slot you secure at the show is often the difference of a season.

Meet us there

Tell us your dates and the boats you want to see, and we will arrange it properly rather than leaving it to chance on the day.
